This client entrusted Rineer Designs to transform their kitchen and dining room from a small, cramped space to a welcoming, warm, and functional space for baking and entertaining. We worked closely with the client to open up the kitchen to the dining room, update the appliances, increase natural light, design storage solutions, tailor the kitchen flow, and bring a sense of cohesion and flow.
A friendly, down-to-earth couple, these clients didn’t know what to do with their existing kitchen. However, they knew it wasn’t working for their lifestyle. They wanted a larger kitchen and dining room with space to entertain, cook and bake. We were tasked with preserving some key favorite elements such as the fireplace and wood floors as we infused it with their warm personalities. It now provides a sense of calm and belonging.
From design plans to final selection, we guided these clients every step of the way. We doubled the footprint of the kitchen and transformed the once dark and cramped space into one that can accommodate their expanding family. Coveted features include a dedicated baking area, a mahogany edge grain countertop, a beverage station in the dining room, as well as ample storage.
