This client was looking to expand their living space with a finished basement. An energetic family of 7, they wanted a basement getaway they could enjoy daily for relaxation, lounging and entertainment, and fitness. Additionally, they wanted a place where guests could stay when in town and enjoy a private, same-level bathroom.
This active family loves playing games, staying fit, and hosting family and friends. Our mission was to design a cohesive and functional contemporary space where they could entertain and work up a sweat. They wanted a space that inspires laughter and fun while remaining upscale and sophisticated.
We set out to bring their vision to life by incorporating intentional use of color and texture and thoughtful accents. The space features a steam sauna room, pool table, spacious workout area, wet bar or food prep space, lounging space, and an additional bathroom.
